Walkability research

Walk21 Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal, where I joined an insightful panel chaired by Mr. Ángel Cardenas Sosa alongside esteemed colleagues: Ms. Luciana Mendes Lobo from Fortaleza, Ms. Deyanira Ávila from Bogotá, and Mr. Patxi Lamíquiz Daudén from Madrid. Together, we discussed the importance of community engagement in urban planning, particularly in fostering walkability.I also had the opportunity to present our research on “Where Albania Walks,” highlighting how essential it is to involve local communities in every decision-making process to create more inclusive and walkable cities.
